What are some daily routines that gets each one of us connected each day?

I like to start my day with an easy yoga set and then meditation with prayer and Reiki.

It guides me to who/what/where/how I am to be that day.

love and light

back when i was being the good yogi, it was:

    1. bathroom
    2. kriyas (neti pot and nostril flossing - kapala bhati)
    3. Pranayama (alternate nostril breathing)
    4. 5-10 malas of mantras
    5. Meditation

    NOw, usually / hopefully
    1. mantras (planetary for the day - Guru mantras)
    2. Meditation
    3. Bhajans..

I should do an easy yoga set - buti am so stiff in the morning,, that is the point though isn't it?

yeah, i would like to get more consistent with my practices.
on the day to day there is hardly anything consistent except for some kind of sitting/singing/chanting at least a little bit before going to bed each night.

in the morning i can hardly sit still i wake up with so much energy usually and wantto get going, but as you do Catherine, i would love to set the tone for my day by doing regular morning practice.

throughout the day i usually doing breathing practices in my chair at work and that keeps me connected. i take work lunch alone a lot of the time so i can read inspirational words.

spending time outside, watching birds, feeling the air on my face, listening to the hum of my computer..all of these things remind me of what is really going on throughout the day so that when i start to get too many ideas about things i can bring myself back to depth and re-ground.

    thanks for asking.
